Believe me your aging process is almost  will not progress  your cellular age will almost remain  stagnant for a long period of time  right now as you see societies get more and more affluent they start eating  worse and worse food  what a rural person in anywhere would not  touch  very sophisticated cities are eating that kind of food.


 when i say that kind of food almost anything that  western societies are using today are a  minimum 30 to 60 days old in yoga their food is classified as Sattva rajas and Thomas .


 Thomas means inertia  if you eat anything which has thomas  inertia will come in your system inertia  does not mean you just become lazy inertia means certain things slow down certain things means essentially regeneration of the system slows down today.


 know that  neural neuronal regeneration is one of  the most important aspect of  keeping your brain reasonably function able functional throughout your life  if you are consuming foods which are Thomasic or causes inertia in the  general function of your system in the  energetic process of who you are  then you will see cognition levels slowly will go down over a period of  time because everybody understands this  this is why they're drinking cups and cups of coca-cola or coffee or alcohol or something else.

there is  something called as viruda  Ahara  that means if you eat one thing and put every thing which works opposite to  that then in our system there is a fight  you know digestive processes largely between acids and Alkalines and all this stuff for example  you eat meat which is fatty  if you ate it by itself  it may not cause that much damage.


but you ate that with rice and ghee  you call that fast food and you ate it now the damage is big because these two things will not go together this is why  any any non-vegetarian food and milk and milk related food were never mixed  because the moment you mix it  it will go opposite to each other and  you.


 create a battle within yourself in  the yogic culture food should rot should not remain in your stomach bag for more than two and a half hours  within two and a half hours you should  have moved out you must be feeling empty stomach hunger will not come empty stomach will come and that is good we  want our stomach to be always empty  because in an empty stomach everything works well and the colon health is something that's  completely neglected today if you do not keep your colon clean keeping your mind in a balanced state is very very  difficult  so in ayurveda and see the first thing  if you say anything you are having sleepless nights you are having  disturbed

I am always worrying about doing well at  school and with the end of year test coming up i'm not sure how much longer. I  can cope my thoughts swarm around my  head  sometimes keeping me up all night  some days it's just all too much and I feel like i'm lost in space  when i did badly.



on one of my tests I  just about kept it  along until i got  home then i broke down crying in front  of my mum she hear for a bit and then she told  me that just like physical health we all have mental health  it's our feelings our thinking our  emotions and our moods  she then said that feeling  angry  and stressed is a normal part of life just like it's normal to feel happy  confident and carefree sometimes  we all have positive and negative  emotions that come and go based on what's happening around us these are  everyday feelings good mental health means experiencing negative emotions it's not always about being happy mum  can relate to the feelings of stress so when mom suggested i take a break from  everything and do something i enjoy.



I  actually took her advice  so i made  a hot chocolate  snuggled up in a duvet and watched a film  and you know what  afterwards i felt so much better mom should take her own advice  most of us only ever share the very good  things we don't like to share how we really feel every morning when i wake up negative  thoughts stream through my head getting  out of bed and pretending i'm okay takes all the energy i have as the day goes on the negative thoughts turn from a stream into a river the water rushes through my head so loudly it's hard to concentrate in  lessons and some days it's so bad.



it feels like a waterfall that's trying to pull me  over the edge everything is so over whelming i thin did not think my friends would  understand if i told them how down i was feeling  but when sasha opened up to me about how  stressed she was feeling i told her  i was not sure how to bring up how i'd  been feeling so i started by saying that  i didn't feel like myself  just her listening made me feel like she stand with m she told me some things that had helped  her so i tried them too  but it didn't make much of a difference even when i tried to be around my  friends i felt alone  the things i used to enjoy weren't fun  anymore  i was really worried about andre and not  sure what to do he was quiet and wasn't hanging out with us like he used to  so i asked our head of year for some  advice.



  he suggested i get andre to speak to him 2 since his negative feelings weren't  going away  i didn't want to speak to ahead of year  but i also didn't want to keep feeling so down so i went  he said that sometimes we have  overwhelming feelings that can be more  intense than our everyday feelings these feelings hang around for a long time and change the way we feel think and behave  they can stop us doing what we want to  in life that's what i was going through  he also said that if we're physically unwell we let people know we ask for  help it should be no different with  mental health sometimes our overwhelming feelings are brought on because of things in our life  sometimes they happen for no reason at  all after hearing this i felt much less alone and it felt good to talk scientists have discover exercise can help  when you're feeling low so ahead of year encouraged me to signing to the school football club which sasha was already in  i still have days.



when the river is  there  but now i'm beginning to understand my  mental health i'm learning how to cope our head of year reminded me that my friends family teachers and lots of others at school are there to help just  as much as he is i had no idea the people around me could be so  understanding and while it's not always easy to talk  about my mental health the person I am talking to might be able to help if you don't feel like talking that's  fine you could try writing sports  reading art music playing with your pet  whatever makes you feel better if you're the person someone talks to  when they're struggling just listen with no pressure or judgements you don't have to have the answer if you feel unsure about anything you can write to a trusted adult  talking about mental health doesn't have  to be difficult after all it's something

Did you know that people in the middle  ages actually used to eat moose nose and spoiled milk because they thought it was  good for them well lucky for you and for  me we know a lot more about nutrition now you probably hear that word nutrition often and it just means eating a diet that's healthy for you.


 If this comes to mind when you hear that  don't even go there because it's not  that bad in fact lots of healthy foods  also taste pretty good  but do you know which foods make up a good diet.healthy diet is a diet that gives you  the necessary calories to do all.


your  activities  not more calories than you need and it has a good representation of the five  major food groups  five major food groups do you know what  they are fruits and vegetables  proteins fats and grains.


 so you know what fruits and veggies are eat more vegetables than any other food  group as for grains you can find whole  grains and many cereals and breads now  can you name some healthy proteins  you thought of eggs fish you're on the  right track but there are also a lot more like other meats nuts and milk all things your school cafeteria probably offers innovation and preventive health for  centeene corporation.


Everybody calls  me dr g most of the stuff you eat should either  come from your school if you're eating  the school lunch program or the school  breakfast program or it should come from  your parents right  you actually do need some fat just make  sure it's healthy fat from foods like  avocado cheese and those eggs again yogurt and even dark chocolate.

but be careful with that one a healthy diet also means not eating too  much of what's unhealthy  which means trying to avoid things that are very high calorie and have a lot of simple sugars and a lot of salt that  means limit the amount of that dark chocolate the sugar you sprinkle of foods and even those sugary drinks like fruit juice or soda and fast food that should really just be a rare treat if  you eat it at all just remember.


that you don't want to become a chicken nugget and french fry kid if all you eat is chicken nuggets and french fries you're  going to grow up looking like chicken  nugget in a french fry that's right good  nutrition not only makes you feel better it makes you look better your skin and your hair it'll glow from all those vitamins that make their way into your system when you eat something you first  break it down in your mouth with your  teeth and you kind of break it down into  smaller and smaller pieces so when it  goes into your stomach it's bathed in  acid which gets rid of any bacteria that  would be bad and then it goes into your intestines and at that point there's a  lot of things called enzymes that are  released that help break down all this  food into the small building blocks  those building blocks are the vitamins  and the nutrients you need to stay alive.



  your blood takes them and delivers them  to the areas of your body where they're  needed it's actually a pretty involved process every single time you take a  bite so what can happen to your body if you  have poor nutrition let's talk about junk right you put yourself at risk of getting diabetes right or being  overweight and not being able to do the stuff you really want to do you may feel like you lose energy really  quickly so here are just a few things to  remember if you start eating a healthy  diet now you're setting up a good habit that you can follow throughout your life who wouldn't rather have more energy  feel better about themselves be in a  better mood and look better  mix it up you don't have to eat the same  old fruits and veggies every single day  you can be adventurous and try some of  the other vegetables your school  cafeteria offers and also don't overeat  when you're eating a meal or a snack  when you get about halfway through ask  yourself whether you need to eat that second half making these small changes  to your diet will help you live a long healthy life.

Three Recipes Weight loss & Diet Eating Well for Heath

1.Our first drink is 100% Ayurvedic fat loss drink.For this, I'm using water, cumin, curry leaves, turmeric powder and black pepper. We have to boil it  for 3 to 4 minutes. So curry leaves help in reducing unnecessary fat and toxins  And helps in weight loss.It also reduces cholesterol. Cumin helps in digestion and even weight loss.  So give it a good boil. Now after 3 to 4 minutes you see that it has got a good  Colour.  Our drink is ready now. You can filter it and then drink. I am also adding honey. It is completely optional but enhances its taste. 



2.For our second weight loss drink, put water in a pan.  Then add ginger and cinnamon stick, and boil it for 5 minutes.  Cinnamon boosts your metabolism, lowers cholesterol and stabilizes blood sugar. Ginger helps in your digestion, reduces weight loss and  specially reduces the accumulated fat in the abdominal area.  After 5 minutes it has got a good colour. Our drink is ready.  add lemon juice to it and mix it well. Filter it before consuming. And now we'll add honey. Honey & Lemon also help in fat loss. So our 2nd drink is also ready.



3.  For our third and final drink, we will put water in  a pan and with this we will add fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds. Fenugreek and cumin help in digestion and in weight loss, so we will boil it  for 3 to 4 minutes. If you do not want to boil it, then you can also keep it soaked overnight and in the morning you can drink it after filtering it.  Even Malaika Arora consumes this daily.  I have cooked it for 5 minutes, its color is absolutely perfect, now you can drink it after filtering it.  So all your three weight loss rings are ready.  Do have any one of them early morning before breakfast.  Do let me know if you want me to share more such recipes.
